The Greek philosopher Heraclitus once proclaimed, 'Change is the only constant in life', so true has it been for Coastal Property Group over the past two years. Managing change is a vital aspect in modern business and this is especially true for us in our latest adventure. Moving from our Head Office in the heart of Sea Point was more than just out of necessity for more office space to house our ever growing staff compliment (thanks to our organic growth achieved year-on-year), but rather a strategic move closer to the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Having been in our new space at 50 Riebeek Street for a month now, we are starting to settle into our new surroundings and enjoying the change of scenery.
Speaking of change, despite pressure being felt across the economy, the Cape Town property market continues to surge with values increasing at an inflation beating pace. Cape Town residential property especially, remains a hedge against uncertain global markets as well as low domestic growth, particularly in the areas of focus for us: The Atlantic Seaboard, City Bowl and Southern Suburbs.
